I was so happy to meet this little beauty a couple of weeks ago - everybody, meet Mya Lissie White! The new addition to Coral & Stone! She is just so gorgeous! Emma will be taking a break from shooting weddings for a little while, to focus on loving and caring for her new addition! I (Jade) will still be shooting lots and bringing 2nd shooters along to step in the gap over the summer. We are so excited for all the weddings we have coming up and have loved the ones we've captured so far. Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend in the sunshine x

I love it when babies are still fattening up and not quite fitting into their skin... I met this gorgeous little chap a few months ago who was only 10 days old and was still called baby no name! I think its really hard being given the resonsibility to name your child. Its something that stays with them forever, sometimes its sentimental and sometimes its a name you have known you wanted to use since you were little. Its a pressure parents feel and sometimes argue on. I hope this little guys loves his new name when he gets one... for now I'll just call him gorgeous boy....
Meet William Rodger Adams, born 12th July a 3.30pm weighing 8lb 3oz. This handsome little chap belongs to the ever so gorgeous Jane Adams from Jarah Hair and Day Spa in Derby and Noel her lovely hubby. I have never met a mum that honestly believed she looked terrible yet from my point of view looked like she'd just stepped of the catwalk. Jane you are utterly beautiful and as a family you are the most gorgeous looking family too these photo's are my proof!!
Fulled with cake and fizz we had fun snapping away getting some lovely images of little Will he even pee'd on me and it just made me love him a little bit more we are clearly best buds now.
I was also blessed to be able to meet Jane's mum who was over from Oz she was awesome, looking after us all doing what mums do best making sure everything was running smoothly.
We had so much pleasure to be able to capture the beautiful little Alana Bo who is the precious daughter of the talented Carmen Yuen Stevenson from Carmen Weddings This little bundle was also meant to be captured as a bump too but she had better plans and as all of us mums know... baby does want baby wants to do no matter what your plans are!! Little miss arrived exactly one month early and how gorgeous is she?
We love our newborn shoots to be able to freeze those tiny moments of the perfect sleepy baby, to remember their tiny feet and hands and to see the adoring love of the new mum... It should never to be taken for granted, it's heaven and we love to be a part of that.
This girl has my heart... Happy Easter everybody :)
The early days of having a baby are so precious. But for the parents, these days often pass in a blur of feeding, changing, crying, feeling tired and oh-so emotional. It's so important to capture these fleeting moments, because they are only tiny for such a short amount of time.We had the opportunity to capture some portraits of these two darling sisters in their home. Ordinary moments for a toddler, like eating a sandwich in your wellie boots, are the simple and sweet moments that need to be captured and remembered!
Look at my scrumptious nephew! Of course I am biased! But look at that frown...a true family trait xx
A couple of weeks ago, my friend had a beautiful baby girl named Keziah. I spent the afternoon with her capturing those moments that pass all too quickly. What a little beauty she is...
Ok so the new year started a while ago now, but we have been very busy! The end of 2013 ended with me giving birth to my third baby - Eadie Lyvia. She is an absolute delight and I'm completely in love with her. I'll share her story with you another time, but here are a few images of my new beauty...
So, this brings me to announce some big news! I have recently decided to join my business together with one of my closest friends Emma (of Emma White Photography)! Emma and myself have worked together for a number of years, each with our own separate photography businesses. Each time we work together, we have so much fun and really motivate and learn from each other. So Jade Alana Photography and Emma White Photography will now be known as: Coral & Stone Photography. We are so excited to see in lots of new changes this year and develop our business together.
What does this mean for you? If you have booked myself or Emma to document your wedding day or lifestyle session, then you can be sure that you will get exactly what you are hoping for! I will remain your lead photographer if you booked me under Jade Alana Photography, and the same will apply if you booked Emma as your photographer :) We are excited to share with you our new blog and have lots of new work to show you in the coming weeks. If you'd like to hear more about what we can do for you, then please get in touch - we'd love to send you one of our new brochures!
Jade & Emma x
I know everyone says it, but 2012 passed by so very quickly. I guess it had something to do with moving house, moving to another town, Bailey (my boy) starting Nursery, my husband starting a new job & of course, another addition to our little family. We had been in our new house just 4 weeks when Lana made her appearance. Right on time, too! At the weekend, we celebrated her 1st birthday. I just don't know where the time has gone - maybe it's being busier with two little ones that things seem to fly by, days roll into one another and time just, passes you by. The thing is, this makes me sad. I don't like time flying by so quickly - because I know my little ones won't be so little anymore, and also that means I'm getting older!! This past year has been so challenging in so many different ways. But getting to know our little girl day by day, is just the most amazing gift. She is such a funny little character! She started out her life, with a very quick & easy delivery and didn't actually properly cry for the first 8 weeks! She was very chilled & just slotted right into our family perfectly. Her chilled-out character is definitely from her Daddy! I have loved watching the relationship develop & blossom with her older brother (which took a little while) & I love seeing the fun they have together already. Lana is hard to make laugh. No matter what we try, nothing really gets out a proper belly laugh from her. Apart from Bailey that is. He can tease her, snatch things away from her, do the general brother stuff to her, but at the end of the day, he is her most favourite. She lights up when he comes in the room, and I love seeing that.
With every day that passes, no matter how little or trivial the experience may be, I want to capture something. My instagram feed is pretty much ALL pictures of my children! I want to remember this time in my life. When the days seemed long sometimes, when the nights seemed even longer, when my son told me he loved me, when my daughter learnt to take her first steps & got her first pair of shoes. I want to remember these simple yet precious moments, because it's all too easy to let life pass you by. So, here's to today, and celebrating Lana's first year.
Lana, my darling girly. I love you more than I can possibly express. Happy Birthday little sweet Berry. You are beautiful, love Mummy xxx
