This is like the warm up to the wedding. A time to get in front of the camera and let go on any worries you might have and enjoy some much needed time together getting all cuddled up and having some laughs
WHEN YOU BOOK ME, YOU WILL GET MORE THAN JUST PHOTOGRAPHY. I WILL BE HERE FOR YOU THROUGHOUT THE WEDDING PLANNING PROCESS, TO OFFER AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE ADVICE, ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT AS YOU NEED.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you shoot destination weddings?
I absolutely do. I have been to Cyprus & Marrakech to photograph weddings. I dream about photographing in Italy & France so do get in touch if this is you!!
I absolutely love to travel, so the answer is YES! My prices remain the same, with flights and accommodation on top.
Will there be a second shooter?
If you would like this, it is a service I can provide. Let's talk about the cost and the benefits for you. I work with selected second shooters whose style complements my own. Starting from £300
Can I extend the session on the day of the wedding?
You certainly can. Just discuss it with me and I'd be happy to stay. I charge £195 an hour.
What kind of gear do you use?
I am a Canon girl. I have 2 Canon 5D's and the new Canon R6 which I love. I use many prime lenses and have a range of zoom's too. I use flash in the evenings when needed but always prefer ambient light where possible
Do I have to order prints through you?
No you are not obliged to but I have a fantastic printer lab I use that produce the highest quality of prints. These are something you just won't find on the high street.
How many images will we get?
I always say a minimum of around 500. You will often get a lot more than that, but it all depends on how long you book me for and the number of guests you have at your wedding and if there is a lot happening
Do we have the copyright?
You will get personal rights to these images - allowing you to print as many as you like and share with your friends and family. The copyright always remains with me, the photographer.
Do I require a meal at a wedding?
For any booking of 6 hours or more - yes please that would be really kind!
I don't need to eat the same menu as you, but something to help keep me going would be very much appreciated. It is NOT essential so as long as I know to bring my own food in advance that is fine too.
Can we meet you?
Yes, I'd love to meet up - you need to decide if I am a good fit for you! I am based in Derby in the East Midlands. I am also happy to meet in person at the studio, FaceTime or speak on the phone.
When will we receive our images?
I generally say to allow between 6 and 8 weeks for you images to be ready. Sometimes it's much sooner than that, but I'll always send you a preview within a week of your wedding to keep you going until the rest are ready.
Do you charge extra for travel?
My mileage for a 50 mile radius from the centre of Derby is included in your package price. However, for distances further than this, it is sensible for me to stay locally the night before. In this event, I am happy to use a Premier Inn or similar and this will be added to you final invoice.
