Frequently Asked Questions

Do you shoot destination weddings?

I absolutely do. I have been to Cyprus & Marrakech to photograph weddings. I dream about photographing in Italy & France so do be in touch if this is you!!
We absolutely love to travel, so the answer is YES! My prices remain the same, with flights and accommodation on top.

Will there be a second shooter?

If you would like there to be I have a few second shooters that I have worked with for many years. What does this give you. Different angles and a wider coverage of your day. I charge £300 for a second shooter.

Can I extend the session on the day of the wedding?

You certainly can. Just discuss it with me and I'd be happy to stay. I charge £180 an hour.

What kind of gear do you use?

I am a Canon girl. I have 2 Canon 5D's and the new Canon R6 which I love. I use many prime lenses and have a range of zoom's too. I use flash in the evenings when needed but always prefer ambient light where possible

Do I have to order prints through you?

No you are not obliged to but I have a fantastic printer lab I use that produce the highest quality of prints. These are something you just won't find on the high street

How many images will we get?

I always say a minimum of around 500. You will often get a lot more than that, but it all depends on how long you book me for and the number of guests you have at your wedding and if there is a lot happening

Do we have the copyright?

The copyright always remains with me, the photographer. However, I give you personal rights to these images - allowing you to print as many images as you like and share with your friends and family.

Do I require a meal at a wedding?

For any booking of 6 hours or more - yes please that would be really kind!
I don't need to eat the same menu as you, but something to help keep me going would be very much appreciated but it is NOT essential so as long as I know I can bring my own food. Just let me know either way.

Can we meet you?

Yes, I'd love to meet up - you need to decide if I am a good fit for you! I am based in the East Midlands. I am also happy to FaceTime or telephone call - whatever is easiest for you

When will we receive our images?

I generally say from between 6-8 weeks until your images are ready; sometimes it's much sooner but i'll always send you a preview within a week after your wedding to keep you going until the rest are ready.

Do you charge extra for travel?

My travel expenses up to a distance of 2hrs from Derby are included but over this I will need overnight accommodation I would be very happy with a B&B or a Premier Inn. I'm not high-maintenance so it won't cost much. I just want to ensure I am local to your wedding in the morning and not stuck in a traffic jam!!
